ISEM Award Call


We are seeking your help in nominating people who are worthy of receiving the ISEM Award. The goal of the award is to honor the scientific and technical contributions in fields which lie within the scope of the ISEM conference series. The nomination should be accompanied by a short but succinct justification for the award.

The first awards were presented in 2003 and up to three awards are announced at each ISEM meeting. Past winners of the award include: Professors Kenzo Miya (twice), Alain Bossavit, Junji Tani, Masato Enokiziono, Anthony J. Moses, Toshiyuki Takagi, Guglielmo Rubinacci, Fumio Kojima, Vincent Mazauric, Antonello Tamburrino and Theodoros Theodoulidis.

The nominations are reviewed by the Awards Committee and the finalists are chosen. Members of the Awards Committee include:

  • Professor A J Moses, Cardiff University, UK
  • Professor D Lesselier, Centrale Supelec, France

  • The awards are recommended by the Awards Committee comprising:

  • Professor A J Moses, Cardiff University, UK
  • Professor D Lesselier, Centrale Supelec, France
  • Professor S. S. Udpa, Michigan State University, USA
  • Professor Z Chen, Xi'an Jiaotong University, China
  • Professor T Sawada, Keio University, Japan
  • Nominations can be submitted for consideration to any member of the Awards Committee or direct to the Chairperson at udpa@msu.edu before June 1, 2019.
